This little turtle just seemed to express exactly how I feel about my crochet work and myself. He's cuddly and fun which is exactly why I love to crochet. Crochet is a creative outlet for me. I work in a high stress job as a Social Worker and love to come home and create something fun that I can share with the world.
I choose to give him the option of changing his shell because it seems that I change when I get to crochet. When I crochet I get to use my imagination and create useful and playful items. I'm also changing my mind on a regular basis and always moving on to the next project.

ReplyDeleteI, too, am a social worker of sorts. I provide direct care to individuals who experience developmental disabilities and thier families. I feel the same way about my crochet being a creative outlet and stress reliever from work.
