Here is nnsideout who was kind enough to help donate items for Relay for Life!
Please check out her shop here: www.etsy.com/shop/nnsideout
I’m Diane, and my shop name is “nnsideout.” When I was younger, my grandmother taught me how to knit. I would make little blankets for my dolls and stuffed animals. I haven’t actually knit anything since then, but decided to make a special gift, which meant I had to learn to crochet. I learned how to crochet from Teresa online, and have blossomed into this “artist” of sorts. And somehow I ended up here on Etsy with my own shop. As I have only been crocheting for about a year I believe my craft has grown quite a bit, as I have also began making hats, bags, and purses without any patterns at all.
Majoring in biochemistry, there isn’t a lot of room for creativity. Learning how to crochet, helped me release some of that creative energy. I really enjoy creating unique patterns and seeing how the items progress and what they turn into. Now that I have graduated I have a great deal of free time on my hands, and I plan to continue to expand my craft by creating other wearable and usable items for all to enjoy.

Relay for Life
Relay for Life kicked off at 6pm May 13th and there was a great turnout. The booths were to be decorated like different board games.
Our board game was Jumanji! We had three tables full of donations. All the details of the set up can be seen in the pictures.
Unfortunately part way into the night the weather took a turn for the worse so we were forced to pack up and leave early. So instead of staying out until 8am Saturday we were out by 1am. We did manage to raise some money in the time we were there. According to the Cancer Society people they will continue to accept donation for 2011 until August.
So I will be setting up a booth again next weekend May 21st, June 18th, and July 16th in hopes of picking up where we left off last night. So the items that did not sell will still have a chance. In August I'll be able to get a grand total of the funds raised for this year. So while it was sad not to have the event last the full length we are going to continue on. The important thing is the money we make to find a cure for cancer.
There are plenty more picture. To view them please see our facebook page!

www.etsy.com/shop/2crochethooks
We are a mother and daughter team that work together to create unique crocheted pieces which are great for gifts or personal use. We love to give back whenever we can and have made countless items for charity. We also like to give back by helping teach new crocheters through easy to understand patterns and free support in understanding them. We were all too happy to contribute to the Relay and look forward to new opportunities to donate in the future.

Donations for Relay for Life Featuring EverythingBlooms!
Everyone I would like to introduce to you Melissa of EverythingBlooms!
I contacted the "Etsy Charity Team" in hopes of finding others who would like to donate towards the Relay for Life cause. The team captain passed word along of our venture and Melissa from EverythingBlooms responded.
Please take a moment to learn more about her and her shop. Add her shop to your favorites or follow her blog!

Take a moment and show some love! Here is more info about her donated items:
The Hairclips:
Each Fabric Bloom Hair Accessory is hand sewn in my smoke-free home and are:
*Approximately 3” in diameter
*Made from 100% designer cotton fabric
*Embellished with a covered button of the same fabric
*Attached to a 1.75” Alligator Clip. Can also be attached to a French barrette
The hairclips are attached to a "stem" -which is super cute way to merchandise them - if you want - you can get a little clay pot, fill it with rock or some other filler and place the little flowers right in there.
