Here is a Christmas Charity for those of you interested!

"I work for Pluckers in Texas. On Christmas Eve they close all the Pluckers & open one in Austin for the homeless and less fortunate familys. They get to order an appetizer & a meal of there choice off our menu. Plus they do a toy drive to get christmas presents for the kids. I was hoping to get enough donations to give the adults a gift as well. I am looking for anything you want to donate really, hats, scarves, slippers, blankets, etc. You can send them to my address at:"

Halloween Scavenger Hunt!

Happy Halloween!

As we prepare to go door to door reciting the fun phrase that wins sweet treats to all who say it once a year. Trick or Treat! Instead of doors on this trick or treat adventure you will visit etsy shops for a chance to win a price box that is worth more than $150 with all kinds of nice handmade goodies and supplies that would make any adult trick or treater happy!


So here is how you play the game :


The fun will last from Friday October 28-October 31st.
The rules are simple. You start at the top of the list of shops listed below and work your way down looking for a Halloween image that the shop owner has hidden in one of their listings. The hunter needs to keep track of either the listing title they found the image under or the item listing number.

Then you can convo the Prayers on a Wire captain at mmg10.etsy.com or you can send him an e-mail at jf0313@gmail.com by November 1st. On November 2nd I will use the random number generator (random.org) to select the winner and will contact them for their address.

Thanksgiving Feast Challenge

Starts: September 1st

Ends: November 30th

Theme: Thanksgiving Feast

Ideas: Create an item in celebration of Thanksgiving. In some cases this could be the actual food, decorations, turkeys gobbling around, fall leaves/trees.

Colors: reds, oranges, browns, yellows, dark greens etc.                                                                                     (Feel free to use the pictures as inspiration)

Make sure your item is tagged: crochetdreamteam (one word)

Must be a new item! (Previously made or re-listed will not count)
