Crochet Dreamers celebrated being a team for two year at the end of July! Some of you may have been with us since the beginning and other may have joined us somewhere along the way. There may also be those who are going to join our community.
For those of you who are considering joining us or maybe you've just joined, we want to welcome you. We have two central locations that we communicate on a regular basis. One place is on the Etsy Discussion Boards. The "Chat Thread" is where we talk, share and get to know one another. Feel free to join us. We're very friendly and won't bite. Another location is our Facebook team page. It is a great location where many people share their newly listed items, favorites, treasuries and more.
If anyone is ever intersted in contributing and article or anything to help our crochet world, for those of us from new beginners to experienced, I welcome you to contact BabyFantasyCrochet on Facebook and I'll be glad to let you help our community grow with your knowledge.

Changes
First I'd like to say "Welcome!" to all of our new members! YAY!
If anyone was wondering about the "New Years" challenge I'd have to tell you that no one entered! I was actually quite surprised since that has never happened before. Etsy also changed their grant program all together so I can't just get prizes. Instead we'd have to do some sort of even that builds up. So with that in mind I'm going to re-vamp some things.
1) We will still do challenges but they are going to be over a 6 month period instead of 3 months.
2) I'd love to feature shops on the blog! If your interested in being a guest writer let me know.
3) If you would like to sponsor a charity, contact me and I will set it up as a team event. We'll just have everyone send their items to the person hosting the event and then you can ship them to their final destination from there.

Christmas Charity
Here is a Christmas Charity for those of you interested!
Jessica from www.etsy.com/shop/jdfootloose will be hosting this event for our team members.
Here is what Jessica had to say:
"I work for Pluckers in Texas. On Christmas Eve they close all the Pluckers & open one in Austin for the homeless and less fortunate familys. They get to order an appetizer & a meal of there choice off our menu. Plus they do a toy drive to get christmas presents for the kids. I was hoping to get enough donations to give the adults a gift as well. I am looking for anything you want to donate really, hats, scarves, slippers, blankets, etc. You can send them to my address at:"
